The virtual meeting between H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and the members of the Association of Serbian-Indonesian friendship NUSANTARA

At the initiative of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Mochammad Chandra Widya Yudha, using the virtual platform zoom, on Saturday 9th of May, was organized a meeting between H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian diplomats and embassy officials and the members of the Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship NUSANTARA.

Adapting to the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to the recommended social distancing safety measures, the participants informed each other of how much creatively they could spend their time during the state of emergency and self-isolation.

Taking the opportunity during isolation, the members of the Association NUSANTARA updated and sorted the archives of the Association and announced to the Ambassador about the initiative and the Association’s plan to publish, sometime next year, the monograph for the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the foundation of NUSANTARA.

H.E. the Ambassador welcomed the initiative and promised to strongly support the realization of this project. Also, he wished good health to everybody, with the appeal for all to abide to the measures and recommendations of the Serbian government, wishing to meet in person as soon as the conditions will allow for it.

The daily newspaper “Politika” published the article about this virtual event.
