THE FIRST INDONESIAN EXPO IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE – WARSAW, 7TH – 10TH MAY 2008
In the period between 7 – 10th May 2008 the first Indonesian expo in Central and Eastern Europe was organised in Warsaw, with the goal to promote trade, investment and tourism between the existing and future partners in Indonesia and Europe. The expo’s subject was: Bridging the Distance, the method of bringing the Indonesian market closer with Europe and taking advantage of the current Indonesian market and trade development.
That is why this was an important event also for Serbia, as to find out what various Indonesian companies have to offer, and there are hundreds of such companies from industrial, trade, financial, investment and tourism sectors. This was an opportunity for Serbian businessmen and companies to meet their Indonesian counterparts and the best way promote future economic cooperation between the two countries.
Along with several representatives of Serbian companies who participated at the Expo, as a guest of the Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade, the Chairman of Nusantara Association, Mr. Dragovan-Bata Lukic also traveled to Warsaw. This represented a real opportunity to get to know the potentials of Indonesian business companies.
