THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF NUSANTARA ASSOCIATION HELD

On Monday, 30th June 2008, the Annual Assembly of the Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship NUSANTARA on the premises of the Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade. 35 members of the Assembly attended the Meeting. On behalf of the Indonesian Ambassador, Mrs. Ance Maylani, the Culture and Information Attaché was present.

The member of the Assembly, Colonel Predrag Pendjer, informed other members that the long-time member of the association, Mr. Muradif Isabegovic, the retired diplomat of former Yugoslavia had passed away. The members of the Assembly paid their respect by holding a minute of silence and concluded that a telegram with condolences should be sent to the Isabegovic family.

At this meeting, a unanimous decision was passed regarding amendments and supplements to certain parts of the Statute.

The Assembly adopted the report on the Nusantara Association activities for the October 2006 – June 2008.

In accordance with the Assembly’s decision regarding changes of the Statute , in the part relating to the members of the Management Board, it was decided that new members to the Board should be co-opted i.e. additionally elected. The following new members were elected:

1. Nebojsa Stojanovic, Energocoop company as the Vice-Chairman of the Management Board

2. Marko Jelic, as a member and Secretary General of MB

3. Branko Danilovic, Metrico company, as a member of MB

4. Petar Vasic, publicist, as a member of MB

5. Dr. Miroslava Lukic-Krstanovic, as a member of MB

6. Dusan Timotijevic, as a member of MB

7. Sara Brkic, as a member of MB.

After the meeting, in the lounge of the Hall where the Assembly took place, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, H. E. Mr. Abduh Dalimunthe, organised a cocktail for the attendees.
