Ivica Mladjenovic, a prominent architect and friend of the Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship “Nusantara” is the author of the concept, selection and total-design of the 10th Belgrade Triennial of World Architecture “Flash Light” – Fifty Outstanding Architects of the World.

The opening ceremony of the 10th Triennial was held on August 8th, 2012 in the Gallery of the Cervantes Institute, and the exhibition was opened by Professor Zora Davidovic, former president of ULUPUDS, who also took part in the opening of the First Triennial in 1985.

The 10th edition of this manifestation, which lasted until August 31st, went back to the theme of the first three triennials – “fifty outstanding architects of the world.” The exhibition included 70 posters presenting works of 50 prominent architects from 28 countries.

Mladjenovic’s selection gave visitors the opportunity to see the tallest buildings in the world, the visionary projects of young Belgrade architects, the works of outstanding world architects, and buildings that marked the architecture of the 20th century, strange hotels, unusual and extraordinary museums in the world and architectural ventures.

The exhibition also included the work of Indonesian architect Ridwan Kamil.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Belgrade, H. E. Mr Semuel Samson, member and chairman of the association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship “Nusantara” Aleksandar Rakovic, and many architects and friends.
