Excursion to Rudnik and Takovo Region

In the year of the COVID-19 pandemics which affected the whole world, including Serbia, the NUSANTARA Association needed to adapt to the circumstances, so from the beginning of the year, there were no organized excursions and events. However, on 29 August 2020, when the epidemiological situation in Serbia became more favorable, NUSANTARA took all precautionary measures and organized its first excursion.

After the first morning coffee in the restaurant “Kota 555”, at Rudnik, excursionists visited the Vraćevšnica Monastery, at the foot of Rudnik, a beautiful church with caring nuns, offering hospitality and a possibility to visit the Obrenović Museum.

Having visited the center of Gornji Milanovac, the excursionists moved on to the Savinac Monastery, visited mineral springs and reached the Eco Village “Koštunići”, where, in beautiful ambience, they enjoyed domestic products of the area and rich contents of this tourist complex. The final destination of the excursion was the Suvobor plateau, where, under the evening sun and its most beautiful colors, travelers enjoyed natural beauties of the landscapes.
