CELEBRATION OF 71st INDEPENDENCE DAY OF REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
In the presence of members of the NUSANTARA Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship, members of the Indonesian community in Serbia, diplomats and officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia led by H.E. Mr. Harry Richard James Kandou, on August 17th 2016. in the residence of the Ambassador ceremonial act of raising the Indonesian flag took place. In this way the 71st anniversary of Independence of Republic of Indonesia was celebrated.
After morning ceremony, was organized an entertainment program, lunch, award giving ceremony to participants of sports competitions, as well as drawing and publishing lottery winners. The celebration was held in a friendly atmosphere, with a lot of music, dance and laugh.
On October the 5th, in Belgrade hotel Metropol, a diplomatic reception was organized for representatives of state administration, the National Assembly, diplomats, distinguished guests, and businessmen. Female Pozarevac City choir „Barili“ performed national anthems of Serbia and Indonesia.
