THE PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION OF INDONESIA VISITED SERBIA

The Delegation of the House of Representatives to Parliament of The Republic of Indonesia visited Serbia and, on the occasion, held important and successful meetings. They visited the National Assembly of The Republic of Serbia (a meeting with the president of the National Assembly Ivica Dačić and members of the friendship group), officials of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, The Administration for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities, The Association of Writers of Serbia, The Society for Culture, Art and International Cooperation ADLIGAT and the representatives of The Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship NUSANTARA.

The representatives of the NUSANTARA association, Marko Jelić and Vladimir Ilić, had the honour to present the activities of the association to the members of the parliamentary delegation – Vice President of the House of Representatives of the Indonesian Parliament Mardani Ali Sera and the memners of the Indonesian delegation –  The Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Fadli Zon, Putu Supadma Rudana, Achmad Hafisz Tohir, Hasbi Anshory and Muslim. The delegation expressed the wish to deepen the cooperation and establishing new types of connections and cooperation, this visit contributing to these efforts.

The representatives of NUSANTARA showed the very city centre of Belgrade, the monument to Knez Mihailo, Republic Square, the monument dedicated to the first conference of the Non Aligned Movement, close to Branko`s Bridge and gifted home made Serbian honey, produced on the meadows of the Cer mountain.
