THE EXCURSION TO SZEGED
November 2017 marked the last excursion for the current year – on Sunday, November 19th, NUSANTARA travelled to Szeged.
The second visit to Szeged gave the members of the NUSANTARA Association of Serbian-Indonesian friendship more freedom to choose their activities. The travellers were given enough time to shop and have lunch at the “Árkád” commercial centre; those who opted to spend the sunny autumn afternoon doing the sightseeing took advantage of the available time to get familiar with the city’s numerous landmarks.
The group gathered then for a brief night tour across the pedestrian zone in the centre of Szeged, where some of the town’s most beautiful monuments are located. The scheduled visit to the Serbian church could not be carried out this Sunday; there was not enough time to tour everything included in the agenda.
With the November excursion to Szeged, NUSANTARA closes the season of its travels for 2017. After the winter break, the members of the NUSANTARA Association of Serbian-Indonesian friendship will continue to visit new destinations across Serbia, as well as the neighbouring countries.
