“NUSANTARA” on the National Serbian TV station RTS 2

In honor of the 10 year anniversary of the existence of „Nusantara“, Marko Jelic, the Secretary General of the Association, Sonja Lapatanov a traveler, ballerina and a choreographer and Adi Bramasto a postgraduate student at the University of Safety Studies in Belgrade were guests on “All colors of life“, a talk show on RTS 2.

The show was mainly based on Nusantara’s 10 year anniversary and the many lectures held in the Belgrade Library on Indonesian traditions, culture, politics, economics, sciences, nature and other peculiarities. Furthermore, the second intra-religious dialogue between Serbia and Indonesia was announced, held in the Indonesian capital Jakarta that will be attended by the Serbian patriarch Irinej.

There was a special mention of the last lecture held by Sonja Lapatanov at the Belgrade Library titled as „Indonesia – the milky way of the ocean“ and her upcoming book on the topic of her experiences in this friendly Southeastern Asian country.

Adi Bramasto spoke of his life in Serbia as a student, what inspired him to study in Serbia as well as how difficult it was for him to learn the local language.

Lastly, the show included a performance of the traditional Indonesian dance performed by dancers from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia.
