INDONESIAN EMBASSY ON THE 32ND INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF TOURISM IN BELGRADE
The Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade took participation on the International Fair of Tourism held in Belgrade from 24th to 28th February. Great attention of the visitors was attracted by the performance of the Children Church Choir „Sveti Sava“ from Loznica conducted by Prof. Dragan Djedovic, member of the Serbian-Indonesian Friendship Society „Nusantara“. They held concert at the Indonesian stand, in which, among others they sang „Ampar-Ampar Pisang“ song.
On behalf of the Indonesian Ambassador, Ms. Ance Maylany extended gratitude to the members of the choir, presented them souvenirs and the choir conductor was presented a Letter of Appreciation. This performance was covered by RTV Serbia.
On the 27th February, the Dancer Group at the Indonesian Embassy, headed by Ivana Askovic, who is also member of the Nusantara Society, performed some Indonesian dances at the hall no. 4 at 11am, and in hall no. 1 at 12am right in front of the Embassy’s stand.
